Dipendra is a great tour guide, he is knowledgeable and reliable. I organized his services before I reached India and he was there on time everyday, his car and minivan were clean, comfortable and air conditioned. He shared his love for Mumbai with us in a fantastic way. I highly recommend his company!
Meeting Dipen and Rafi over the last few days made for an amazing trip through Mumbai. We met Dipen on our first night in town with the task of finding a suit tailor and sari fitter who would help us look dashing for a friend’s wedding a few nights later. Dipen took us to a series of amazing shops where we were well taken care of and not a single detail was missed. Through our adventure that evening he shared with us some insights about the city and it’s growth. We had such a wonderful evening with his assistance that we eagerly signed up for a half day tour the next day.
Rafi was our tour guide the next morning and he and our driver Vishal took us through some of the key areas of Mumbai. My favourite was our tour of Colaba which was off the cuff and authentic. Rafi taught us a bit about politics in the country and gave us some amazing insights into philosophy and religion which we appreciated discussing with him during our tour. We ended the tour with a cup of chai at one of his favourite local joints and then headed to the tailor for our suit fitting. Dipen continued to check on us throughout the day and recommended a delicious restaurant called Pritam for supper.
